Hi everyone, I'm the woman behind Ennas' Cake Design.
I never dreamed of becoming a cake artist before 2012. It all started in the Spring of that year when my sister in law told me that she had enrolled at Michael's for the First Wilton Method Course. It sounded like fun so I told her that I was going to enroll as well. As my birthday was approaching, she and my brother found the perfect gift for me: the course tuition and the learners kit. I immediately fell in love with the art of cake decorating and haven't stopped learning new techniques ever since!
I found inspiration in many places along the way. Among them, CakeCentral, Jessicakes Blog and Craftsy have played a special part in my learning experience. Every month I buy a new class to learn more an more and I'm always on the lookout for new inspiration.
On October 2012 I started my Facebook page, and little by little more people liked my work, but it wasn't until April 2014 when someone reposted my makeup case cake and my audience went off the chart. I was so humbled with all the nice things everyone had to say about my cakes and the avalanche of likes... just amazing.
Since I started publishing the pictures of my work, some of my cakes have been featured in Craftsy's Blog, in Jessicakes Blog Facebook Page, in CakeCentral Magazine's Vol. 4 issue 10 and last but not least one of them was selected to become the image of Craftsy's I (Heart) Cake Decorating Facebook Page.
It has been amazing, and I hope that God allows me to learn more everyday, to share with more people my God given talents, to love more my two beautiful children and husband, and to keep enjoying cake decorating as much as I do.
